- Custom-made to your exact dimensions
- Durable aluminum construction
- Weather-resistant
Space-saving pleated insect screen for terrace and balcony doors.
The standout advantage of this system is its ultra-compact design. The specially pleated mesh folds into a neat zigzag and retracts fully into the side profile, taking up minimal space and leaving your doorway completely unobstructed. It preserves full door functionality and maintains a clear, open view to the outside.
Engineered for smooth, effortless operation, the screen glides easily and can be fixed in any position. The low-profile threshold ensures seamless passage without barriers.
Crafted from durable, weather-resistant extruded aluminium, this system is built for long-lasting performance in all conditions.
Available in 4 frame colours: White (RAL 9016), Anthracite (RAL 7016), Black (RAL 9005), Brown (RAL 8014).
A smart, durable solution for peaceful, insect-free living – season after season.
- All measurements must be taken and entered in millimeters (mm). 94cm = 940mm
- Measure carefully and each door individually – even if they look identical.
- Do not use a ruler or tailor’s tape. Always use a steel tape measure for accurate results.
1.Measure the width (W) of the door opening from left to right at the very top (W1) and again at the very bottom (W2)
If the measurements differ, use the smaller of the two.
2. Measure the height (H) of the door opening from top to bottom on both sides (H1; H2)
If the measurements differ, use the smaller one.
- Your door frame must have at least 45 mm of flat mounting space on the top and both sides.
- Make sure there is 6–14 mm of clearance at the bottom.
- Side profile thickness, housing where the blind retracts, varies depending on door width (W) and ranges from 109 mm to 147 mm.
The dimensions of the finished product will be the same as the dimensions you have measured.

What’s in the box: Pleated mesh panel, top & bottom profiles, side profiles (×2), mounting screws, decorative caps.
1.Connect the side profiles to the top profile and secure the joints with a hex key.
2. Place the frame profile on the door frame (A) or inside the door frame (B) and screw it in place using the supplied screws.
3. Peel the protective tape from the bottom threshold, insert it into the side guides, and glue the threshold to the floor.
4. Check the cords at the top and bottom of the roll-out unit for tension. Make sure the cords are not crossed.
5. Insert the pull-out block into the top and bottom guides. On the side from which the net will be pulled, lock it into the side guides by pressing firmly.
6. Insert and fix the cord tension profile on the opposite side.
7. Tighten the cords in the upper and lower guides using a hex key. Check that the net remains vertical when opening — if not, repeat this step.
8. Check that the net opens smoothly without catching. Insert the magnetic tape into the tensioning profile.
Where to Install
Pleated insect screen works on doors of various sizes and is especially well-suited for doorways where space is limited – it folds flat when open, taking up virtually no room. Ideal for installation inside the doorway.
Cleaning
Over time, dust may accumulate on the screen. If cleaning is needed, pull the screen out and carefully vacuum it using a soft brush attachment.
For more thorough cleaning, open the screen and gently wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth or a soft brush. If necessary, use mild soapy water.
Regular cleaning will help keep the screen looking good and prevent dirt from building up.
Clean gently and avoid stretching or deforming the screen material.
Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or harsh chemicals.
Removal & Storage
It is not necessary to remove the screen for the winter season – simply slide it into the side profile.
If you still wish to remove it, unlock the string tension profiles on both sides of the mesh and lift the handle strip out of the upper and lower thresholds. No tools are required.
If removing the screen for winter storage, keep it flat in a dry place.
Take care of your screen and it will take care of you – season after season.

- Den första dörren vi fick var trasig ( troligen Schenker ) Men det var jättebra service och vi fick snabbt en ny. Den passade perfekt. Det kan nog bli myggnät till fönster framöver.
